Turn loose photos and scans into one properly laid-out PDF

This is useful when a form asks for one PDF but your documents are still sitting in the gallery as separate photos. Add photographed notes, receipts, certificates, artwork, or phone scans and review the actual page sequence before you save anything.

Before you download, know what makes the result useful

Make phone images feel like one document

JPG to PDF is for the everyday situation where a form, certificate, receipt, or handwritten assignment exists as separate photos. A single, ordered PDF is simpler to upload and much easier for the recipient to archive. Add the full set first, then organise the real thumbnails instead of trusting the accidental order from a phone gallery.

Rotate sideways shots before deciding page size. Auto works well when photos have mixed shapes. A4 is the familiar option for job, school, and office submissions. Fit keeps every edge visible; Fill creates a fuller page but can trim an edge, so it is best used only after checking the live preview.

Finish it like a formal submission

Use a clear filename that describes the contents, not a camera name such as IMG_6284. Keep related pages together and avoid adding a decorative cover unless the recipient needs one. A photo-based PDF is not automatically searchable, so use a text PDF wherever the receiving system needs to read the words inside it.

If the final photo PDF is too large for a portal, compress it after arranging the pages. For a polished employment document, make the resume in the Resume Builder instead; photographing a printout can introduce shadows, skew, and a less reliable ATS result.

Make the file easy to receive

Before uploading, open the finished PDF on a normal viewer and check the page count, order, and margins once from beginning to end. This catches a missing reverse side, a duplicate photograph, or an image that looks fine as a thumbnail but is too dark at full size.

Use a filename a person can understand at a glance, such as `rental-agreement-supporting-pages.pdf` or `semester-notes.pdf`. If a portal has a size limit, run the final copy through Compress PDF after this review rather than trying to shrink each original image separately.

Can I combine PNG, WebP, and JPG files in the same PDF?+

Yes. Mix the supported image types in one workspace, arrange them visually, and they will be written into the same PDF in that exact order.

Will the tool crop my photos?+

Fit never crops the image. Fill covers the available page and can trim an edge when the photo and paper have different shapes; the workspace warns you when Fill is selected.

Can I make an A4 PDF for an application or assignment?+

Yes. Choose A4, then select portrait or landscape, a margin, and Fit. The live page preview shows the layout before the PDF is created.

Does the PDF contain searchable text?+

No. The source is an image, so the PDF is image-based. OCR would be required to create a searchable text layer.

Can I add photos in a different order from my gallery?+

Yes. Drag the image cards into the exact reading order you need before generating the PDF.

What is the difference between Fit and Fill?+

Fit keeps the entire image inside the page. Fill uses more of the paper but may crop an edge when image and page shapes differ.

Can I mix portrait and landscape images?+

Yes. Use Auto for flexible page sizing, or review each image carefully when choosing a consistent A4 or Letter layout.

Why does my PDF not have searchable text?+

Photos are placed as images, so their visible words do not automatically become a searchable text layer. OCR is needed for that.

Can I make a PDF from receipt photos?+

Yes. Add the images, place them in date or expense order, and choose a layout that keeps every receipt edge visible.

How do I make the image PDF smaller afterward?+

Create and review the PDF first, then use Compress PDF on the completed copy if it is too large for the destination.
